Swim & Fun test set for pH value / Active oxygen is a simple and effective way to measure the pH value and active oxygen content of water. The test kit includes reading containers with printed color codes, fast-dissolving tablets for pH value (Phenol Red) and active oxygen (DPD4). 30 tablets of both. Simple and clear instructions for use included.
Instructions for use:
– Fill the container with water and add the Phenol Red and DPD4 tablets in separate chambers – check the packaging to ensure you are placing the tablet in the correct chamber. Note that the tablets should be placed in the smallest chambers, which do not have a color scale.
– Shake the container for 20 – 30 seconds until the tablets dissolve, leave for approx. 2 minutes.
– Compare the color of the water sample to the color on the printed color chart.
– Choose one of the colors that best matches the color of the water and read the pH value and chlorine content of the water from the color.
